My Artistic Attempts
Since coming to college my artistic endeavors have suddenly intensified and branched out into the fantasy world. I've started up a gallery at the fantasy art site Elfwood, but I'm going to post most of those pictures here as well.
Because I have enough now to require multiple art pages (!) here's the break-down.
The Notebook Doodles: This spans years of classroom boredom throughout high school and college . These were all largely done in the margins and blank pages of notebooks in various ballpoint pens.
The First Fantasy Characters: These are the next step up from the Notebook Doodles. I did most of these in General Chemistry class my freshman year of college, but on actual blank paper, as opposed to scrawled in empty notebook margins.
Other Art: A lot of this if fantasy, and up on Elfwood, but I'll post it here, too, along with a few other non-fantasy works I've done, including excerpts from a children's story I wrote for 11th grade French.
Commissioned Works: People have actually asked ME to produce art for them! Good god! Some of this, too, is posted on Elfwood.
Fan Art: I don't do fan art very often - maybe because I don't like the expectation of faithfully reproducing a commercial image. But on occasion, some things just beg to be copied.
